Spring has arrived 3 to 4 weeks early this year in cottage country, great news for us that have water access properties, and for our new road access projects we are looking forward to seeing half load restrictions lifted earlier than normal.
After excavating and consolidating the soil for the Angus Abelsohn project last fall, we visited the site for the first time on Friday. It was a nice surprise to see the buildings footprint dry and in good shape to start construction.
We spent a few hours confirming the orientation of the building and walked through the construction schedule with the foundation contractor Gaeton St Onge and Builder Tom Stead.
Some light excavating will be done early next week and the foundation work will be initiated shortly afterwords.
