Originally called the Corridor House, this residence consists of two 34′ by 34′ volumes connected by a 16′ by 8′ glass corridor that creates transparency in all directions. On the north side of the corridor is the entrance nook, to the south a large screened in porch; look east or west and glazed walls at either end of the corridor afford views out into the forest beyond.

Built as a home/studio for MAFCOhouse founders, Diane and Dan Molenaar, Moose has a fully glazed 84′ south elevation. The entrance nook and end bays are cantilevered 7′ beyond the foundation and the south elevation 11′, pushing the engineering envelope and making the building appear to float above grade.
