Scot-build Developments has made great progress on the Duggan Trimble house. Our standard structural engineering provided extensive roof and floor cantilevers. While Blackwell developed a new foundation post system that will structurally facilitate the roof and floor loads onto a 4" column.
The bedroom and entrance volume beams have been erected to facilitate a 9' ceiling height, the great room ceiling will be 12'.
This shot shows the 2 - 4' X 16' floor framing bump-outs to create additional interior space.
The lower level ICF foundation was specified below the kitchen, dining and living room, the bedroom volume will appear to float supported by steel columns.
Floor system cantilevered beyond steel column extensions to concrete piers.
